Shine a Light on Alzheimer’s – Create Your Own Fundraiser

The Longest Day® celebrates the day with the most light – the summer solstice – as a symbol of hope in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Take part by organizing a fundraising activity of your choice, on a day that works for you. Every dollar you raise supports the Alzheimer’s Association® in advancing care, support, and research.

Start Your Fundraiser Today!

Winter Solstice Challenge: Shine Bright

Raise $200 by December 21 and earn an exclusive gift during the Winter Solstice Challenge. Every effort counts!

Fundraising Ideas

Hobbies:

Honor cherished memories. If baking with your grandmother was a favorite pastime before Alzheimer’s, host a baking fundraiser in her honor.

Sports:

Celebrate shared traditions. Emma’s dad loved golfing, and when he could no longer play, she hosted a community golf outing to raise funds in his honor.

Games:

Keep traditions alive. A Sunday card game with your mom may have been disrupted by Alzheimer’s, but you can host a card game fundraiser to show your support.

Parties & Events:

Rally your community. When Missy’s mom was diagnosed, her friends and family came together for a neighborhood BBQ to honor her dad and raise awareness.

Together, we can outshine the darkness of Alzheimer’s. Join the fight and register today
